Pipe Fitter – Level 1 at Fort Knox Group

About the Role

We are seeking an entry-level Pipe Fitter (Level 1) to assist in assembling, installing, and maintaining piping systems under supervision. This role offers hands-on training and exposure to mechanical and industrial installation work.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and installation of pipes and fittings
• Support senior fitters in assembling piping systems
• Clean, measure, and cut pipes according to specifications
• Maintain work tools and equipment in good condition
• Follow safety procedures and company guidelines at all times
• Carry out other duties as assigned by supervisors

OHSE Responsibilities

• Wear and maintain personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Report unsafe conditions and hazards immediately
• Participate in safety training and toolbox talks
• Maintain a safe and clean workspace

Qualifications & Experience

• Trade Test or Technical Certificate
• 0 – 2 years of relevant experience in mechanical or plumbing works

Skills & Abilities

• Good teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to follow instructions accurately
• Physically fit and safety-conscious
• Eagerness to learn pipefitting trade skills

Knowledge & Technical Requirements

• Basic knowledge of tools and materials used in pipefitting
• Understanding of basic mechanical principles (training provided)
