About the Role
We invite applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Physics Teacher. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and assessing lessons, fostering a positive learning environment, and contributing to the overall academic development of students.
Curriculum Planning and Development
- Develop detailed and well-structured lesson plans aligned with the curriculum and educational standards
- Create engaging and innovative teaching materials, incorporating various instructional strategies to meet diverse learning styles
Classroom Instruction
- Deliver lessons that inspire curiosity and critical thinking, making the subject matter accessible and relevant to students
- Utilize effective teaching methodologies, technology, and resources to enhance the learning experience
Assessment and Evaluation
- Prepare and submit question banks on the scheduled date
- Design and administer assessments to measure students' understanding of the subject
- Provide constructive feedback to students on their academic performance, identifying areas of improvement and recognizing achievements
Student Engagement and Support
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages active participation and collaboration
- Provide additional support to students who require assistance, addressing individual learning needs
Collaboration and Professional Development
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate cross-disciplinary approaches and contribute to the overall school curriculum
- Engage in ongoing professional development activities to stay informed about educational trends, advancements, and best practices within the subject area
- Maintain open and effective communication with the principal, vice principal—academics, and other staff members
