About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional to join our pharmacy team in a key operational role.

Responsibilities

• Conduct proper stock management and audit of drugs in the pharmacy
• Dispense medications for inpatients and outpatients
• Fill and label medical containers accurately
• Check all prescriptions for errors, ensuring appropriateness and safety for individual patients
• Provide advice on medication dosage and appropriate forms of administration (tablets, injections, ointments, inhalers)
• Maintain sufficient stock levels of all required medications
• Detail medicines to doctors, nurses, interns, and other healthcare professionals
• Manage requisition of all medicines
• Verify quality and sources of drugs before dispensing
• Stay updated with technical developments that improve efficiency and reliability
• Ensure adherence to standard pharmacy safety measures and quality checks
• Participate in scientific meetings and departmental activities

Requirements

• HND qualification in a related field
• 1–4 years of relevant work experience in pharmacy
