Key Responsibilities: - Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner as they arrive at the petrol pump. - Assist customers with fueling their vehicles, including pumping fuel, checking oil levels, and adding fluids as needed. - Dispense the correct amount and type of fuel requested by customers and handle cash or card transactions accurately and efficiently. - Provide information related to fuel prices, products, and petrol pump services to customers. - Ensure that all safety guidelines and operating procedures are followed at all times to maintain a secure and hazard-free environment. - Monitor fuel levels in underground storage tanks and report any discrepancies or issues to the supervisor. - Conduct routine inspections of petrol pump facilities and equipment, including pumps, payment systems, and safety devices, identifying and reporting any maintenance or repair needs promptly. - Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the petrol pump area, including fuel pumps, islands, restrooms, and surrounding grounds. - Keep records of fuel sales, transactions, and inventory levels accurately and handle basic administrative tasks as required. - Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operation of the petrol pump and resolve any customer complaints or issues satisfactorily.
