## Title: PCD IT Security Engineer

Position Overview

Daiik Engineering Ltd is seeking a qualified PCD (Process Control Domain) IT Security Engineer. This is a specialized cybersecurity professional role responsible for protecting industrial networks that control physical processes, such as those found in oil refineries, power plants, and manufacturing facilities.

This role bridges the gap between traditional IT (Information Technology) and OT (Operational Technology), ensuring the security and integrity of critical operational systems.

Core Responsibilities

  • Detect and respond to malware, ransomware, or unauthorized access attempts targeting industrial operations
  • Implement and maintain firewalls, endpoint protection (antivirus), and intrusion detection systems specifically for PCD assets
  • Manage user access, apply security patches, and maintain backup and disaster recovery plans for critical control systems like PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers)
  • Perform vulnerability assessments and ensure adherence to industry standards such as NIST 800-82 or company-specific protocols
  • Lead the investigation and remediation of security breaches within the production environment

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or Applied Sciences
  • 5–10 years of experience in IT infrastructure
  • At least 3 years of specific experience in OT/PCD security

Required Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in industrial control systems (ICS)
  • Network security expertise
  • SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) tools

Preferred Certifications

  • GICSP (Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional)
  • CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)
  • CCNP Security or CompTIA Security
