The Opportunity

As a Payments & Compliance Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity and efficiency of our payment operations while maintaining the highest standards of regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and process payments with accuracy and timeliness to ensure smooth transactions
• Implement and enforce compliance policies aligned with CBN and global best practices
• Flag irregular activities and work with internal teams to resolve compliance and risk issues
• Maintain accurate records of all financial operations and compliance activities
• Support finance, operations, and regulatory engagement units to ensure seamless delivery

Required Experience and Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in payments, compliance, or financial operations (preferably in fintech, banking, or related sectors)
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy, documentation, and regulatory requirements
• Familiarity with CBN guidelines, AML/CFT policies, and NDIC standards
• Proficiency with fintech applications, reporting tools, and compliance software
• Professional integrity with a commitment to trustworthiness, discretion, and ethical practice
