About the Role

Reporting to the Chief Medical Director, you will support the daily care and management of patients in collaboration with the Consultant Ophthalmologist. This position involves actively contributing to the delivery of comprehensive eye care services and playing a supportive role in supervising clinical activities to ensure high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct full eye health and vision examinations using advanced diagnostic tools
• Prescribe and fit corrective lenses based on clinical assessments
• Perform diagnostic evaluations and develop treatment plans
• Apply vision therapy techniques in patient care
• Educate patients on proper eye care and visual hygiene
• Maintain accurate patient records in accordance with regulatory requirements
• Guide and supervise medical staff to support clinical excellence

Required Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry degree (O.D) from a recognized institution
• Certification from the Optometrists and Dispensing Opticians Registration Board of Nigeria with a valid Certificate of Practicing License
• NYSC discharge certificate or exemption letter
• Minimum of 2 years' post-NYSC clinical experience
