About the Role

You will be responsible for providing comprehensive eye and vision care, diagnosing disorders, prescribing corrective lenses, and managing ocular diseases. You will work collaboratively with our ophthalmologists to ensure seamless patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough eye examinations using advanced diagnostic equipment
• Diagnose vision problems, eye diseases, and systemic conditions with ocular manifestations
• Prescribe and fit eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other visual aids
• Provide pre- and post-operative care for surgical patients
• Offer guidance on eye exercises and vision therapy
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
• Educate patients on ocular health and preventive care
• Collaborate effectively with the medical and administrative teams

Requirements

• Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree from a recognized institution
• Minimum of 2 years of proven clinical experience
• Valid license to practice as an Optometrist in Nigeria
• Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficiency with modern optometric technology and equipment
• Patient-centric approach and high ethical standards
