About the Role
The Operations & Care Coordinator will manage the daily operations of care delivery, ensuring caregivers and nurses are properly scheduled, care plans are followed, and operational issues are resolved quickly.
This is a remote role ideal for someone who is highly accountable, self-organized, calm under pressure, and experienced in coordinating people and schedules, especially in healthcare or field-based environments.
Key Responsibilities
Care Operations & Scheduling
- Create and manage weekly caregiver schedules
- Coordinate nurse visits and follow-ups
- Ensure care plans are executed consistently
- Resolve shift gaps and caregiver absences
Caregiver & Nurse Coordination
- Coordinate onboarding of new caregivers and nurses
- Introduce caregivers to patients and families
- Walk caregivers through care plans and expectations
- Act as the main point of contact for operational issues
Hiring & Onboarding Support
- Screen and shortlist caregiver and nurse candidates
- Coordinate interviews and onboarding logistics
- Support quick staffing when new clients are onboarded
Operations Reporting
- Maintain basic operations records
- Share weekly operations summaries with management
- Flag risks early (staffing gaps, care issues, recurring problems)
What This Role Is NOT
- Not a marketing or sales role
- Not a clinical decision-making role
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in healthcare administration, home care, NGO operations, or field coordination
- Strong scheduling and coordination skills
- Comfortable managing caregivers and nurses across locations
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Basic proficiency with Google Suites (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Notes, Mail, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through
