## Title: Office Manager - Accounting
Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated professional to manage office operations with strong accounting expertise. This role encompasses financial operations, cash flow management, accounts payable and receivable, purchase orders, internal controls, and weekly and monthly financial reconciliations.
Financial Responsibilities
- Prepare and post receipts, deposits, purchase orders, requisitions, invoices, refunds, and other standard bookkeeping tasks
- Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Maintain stock accounts and supplies management
- Manage company liabilities including insurance premiums and related obligations
- Prepare, file, and maintain records of company tax invoices, payments, and finance-related documents
- Review and process reimbursements
- Demonstrate familiarity with tax filing requirements and coordinate with tax advisors
- Prepare, track, and reconcile ledgers and budgets
- Create financial and inventory reports
- Identify and correct miscalculations and financial discrepancies
- Run and update accounting databases
- Develop and streamline operational efficiencies
- Implement energy-saving and sustainability initiatives
Administrative Responsibilities
- Process and manage timely payment of office and facility utility and domestic bills (DSTV, Internet, phone, waste disposal, PHCN, diesel, fuel, etc.)
- Handle subscriptions updates and computer upgrades
- Maintain operational relationships within the organization and provide timely solutions
- Escalate and ensure identified issues are resolved promptly when support is requested
- Demonstrate knowledge of safety regulations, compliance requirements, and facility maintenance procedures
