Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Nursery School Teacher to join our dynamic team in a high-paced school environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment for nursery pupils, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development.
The ideal candidate will be familiar with child safety and protection policies and will be competent in the use and integration of technology in the classroom, as well as best practices in the administration of learning content.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons by developing and implementing lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of nursery pupils using the EYFS framework
- Create a safe and nurturing environment while ensuring the physical and emotional well-being of pupils and adhering to child safety and protection policies
- Foster social and emotional development by encouraging pupils to develop social skills, emotional intelligence, and self-confidence
- Integrate technology in the classroom by using digital tools and resources to enhance teaching and learning, and to communicate with parents and colleagues
- Assess and record pupils' progress by monitoring and documenting development, identifying areas for support and development
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and share best practices with other teachers and support staff
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
- Teaching certification (TRCN, Nursery school teaching certification, or eligibility for certification)
- Previous teaching experience in a nursery school setting
- Familiarity with child safety and protection policies and procedures
- Competence in the use and integration of technology in the classroom
- Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pupils, parents, and colleagues
