## Title: Nursery Class Teacher
Job Summary
Collins American International Academy (CAIA) is seeking a passionate and dedicated Nursery Class Teacher to nurture and educate children aged 2–5 years in a safe, stimulating, and supportive environment. The ideal candidate will foster early childhood development through play-based learning, creativity, and structured activities that promote cognitive, emotional, and social growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities
- Create a warm, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
- Support children's physical, emotional, and social development
- Monitor and assess student progress, maintaining accurate records
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians about student development
- Ensure classroom safety and hygiene standards are maintained
- Encourage positive behavior and manage classroom routines effectively
- Collaborate with other staff and participate in school events and training
- Identify and support children with special educational needs (SEN)
- Promote early literacy, numeracy, and motor skills through play and structured learning
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of a Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, or related fields
- Teaching certification (e.g., NCE, PGDE, or equivalent)
- At least 1–3 years of experience teaching in a nursery or early years setting
- Familiarity with EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) or similar curriculum (advantageous)
- First Aid and Child Protection training (advantageous)
