Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician at Precious Palm Royal Hotel

Role Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Precious Palm Royal Hotel in Lagos. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and improving all aspects of our facilities, ensuring a safe, functional, and efficient environment. This role requires hands-on expertise across multiple maintenance disciplines, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, masonry, carpentry, and general handyman work.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment, machinery, and building systems
• Conduct minor construction and masonry work as needed, including repairs and installations
• Maintain and repair furniture, fixtures, doors, windows, and other building structures
• Handle painting, carpentry, and general handyman tasks
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience as a multi-skilled maintenance technician or similar role
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems: wiring, circuits, lighting, outlets, and electrical troubleshooting
• Strong knowledge of plumbing: pipes, faucets, water systems, leak repairs, and drainage issues
• Strong knowledge of HVAC: air conditioning, heating, and ventilation maintenance and repair
• Strong knowledge of masonry and construction: brickwork, concrete, plastering, and minor renovations
• Strong knowledge of carpentry and general handyman work: doors, windows, furniture, and basic painting
• Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and maintenance instructions
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physically fit and able to handle manual labor
• Relevant certifications or vocational training in any of the maintenance disciplines is a plus
