Job description

We are looking for a qualified candidate to fill this position. Responsibilities - Lead the design and implementation of the project’s Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) framework. - Develop and manage M&E plans, indicator tracking tools, data collection instruments, and reporting templates. - Ensure accurate, timely collection, verification, analysis, and visualization of project data across all nutrition activities. - Track progress against output, outcome, and impact indicators in line with donor and national reporting standards. - Support routine data quality assessments (DQAs) and field-level monitoring visits. - Generate periodic M&E reports, dashboards, learning briefs, and success stories. - Support baseline, midline, endline, and special assessments, including surveys and evaluations. - Collaborate with technical teams to integrate learning and adaptive management into implementation. - Strengthen the M&E capacity of project staff, community volunteers, and partners through mentoring and training. - Ensure alignment of project indicators with SPHDA, SMOH, and national nutrition/MNCH reporting systems. - Support accountability mechanisms, including beneficiary feedback and community scorecards. Requirements - Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in Public Health, Monitoring & Evaluation, Statistics, Social Sciences, Nutrition, or a related field. - 5–7 years of progressive experience in M&E for donor-funded nutrition, health, or MNCH programs. - Strong knowledge of results-based management, logical frameworks, and indicator performance tracking. - Experience with data collection platforms (e.g., DHIS2, KoboToolbox, ODK, CommCare, or similar). - Proven skills in data analysis, interpretation, visualization, and reporting. - Familiarity with nutrition indicators, IYCF, CMAM, or community health programming is an added advantage. - Excellent technical writing, communication, and presentation skills. - Ability to work collaboratively with government counterparts, community actors, and development partners. - High level of integrity, attention to detail, and commitment to data quality and learning.
