Midwife / Staff Nurse

We are looking for a qualified candidate to fill this position. Position Overview: - The Staff Nurse or Midwife is responsible for providing safe, compassionate, and high quality patient care in accordance with hospital standards and nursing protocols. Key Responsibilities: - Assisting in patient assessment, treatment, documentation, and overall clinical coordination to ensure efficiency, patient satisfaction, and adherence to professional ethics. - Administer medications and treatments strictly as prescribed by the doctor, adhering to the Six Rights of Drug Administration. - Maintain accurate and real-time documentation in the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and nursing charts. - Monitor patients’ conditions and promptly report any abnormal findings to the doctor. - Prepare wards and ensure patient readiness for admission, surgery, and discharge. - Assist in pre-operative and post-operative patient management, ensuring all necessary equipment and materials are available and functional. - Provide patient education on medications, discharge instructions, and follow-up appointments. Required Qualifications: & Requirements - Registered Nurse (RN) with valid licenses. - Registered Midwife (RM) is an added advantage - Minimum of 2 years clinical experience in a hospital with a strong background in midwifery. - Sound knowledge of nursing procedures and patient care standards. - Excellent communication, documentation, and teamwork skills. - Demonstrated empathy, professionalism, and commitment to patient-centered care.
