Job Summary

Aniso Specialist Medical Centre is seeking a fast and detail-oriented Medical Typist to assist a Doctor with accurate and timely documentation using the hospital's electronic medical record system. This position offers a great opportunity for career growth.

Responsibilities

• Type and update patient notes, reports and summaries in the electronic medical record (EMR) system
• Ensure medical terminology and abbreviations are used correctly
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information at all times
• Assist the doctor with clerical tasks related to patient documentation
• Ensure all records are completed and filed promptly
• Review documents for accuracy, completeness and consistency

Requirements

• Minimum of OND or HND in Secretarial Studies, Office Technology or a related field
• At least 1 year of experience as a typist, preferably in a hospital setting
• Excellent typing speed and accuracy
• Good understanding of medical terminology
• Proficiency in computer use and familiarity with electronic medical record systems
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively
• Must reside in Lagos
