About the Role

Eastern and Western Hospital seeks an experienced and skilled Medical Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality medical care to our patients, lead and manage a team of medical professionals, and contribute to the development of our medical services.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert medical care to patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of various medical conditions
• Lead and manage a team of medical professionals, including junior doctors, nurses, and other healthcare staff
• Develop and implement clinical guidelines and protocols to ensure best practices in patient care
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
• Provide training and mentorship to junior medical staff
• Participate in on-call duties and provide medical coverage as required

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent
• At least 5 years of experience as a medical doctor, with a minimum of 1 year in a senior role
• Valid medical license to practice in Nigeria
• Excellent clinical and leadership skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and other healthcare systems
