Role Description

This is a full-time on-site position located in Ibadan. We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Medical Officer to join our growing clinical team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive medical care to patients, ensure adherence to clinical standards, and demonstrate strong leadership in supervising nursing and support staff to maintain excellence in service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical care to patients
• Perform surgeries as required
• Liaise with physicians and collaborate within patient care teams
• Supervise nursing and support staff
• Ensure adherence to medical protocols and clinical guidelines
• Train and mentor junior staff members
• Maintain excellence in service delivery across all clinical activities

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS or MBChB) from a recognized institution
• Valid practicing license from the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN)
• Minimum of 1 year of post-NYSC clinical experience
• Clean disciplinary record with all professional and regulatory bodies

• Experience and proficiency in Surgery
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong leadership capabilities
• Ability to train and develop junior staff
• Capacity to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to work independently and under minimal supervision
