Medical Laboratory Technician at Zael Business Management and Consulting

Key Responsibilities - Collect, receive, label, and process patient specimens (blood, urine, stool, swabs, etc.). - Carry out routine laboratory tests under the supervision of a Medical Laboratory Scientist. - Prepare reagents, stains, and laboratory materials. - Operate and maintain laboratory equipment such as centrifuges, microscopes, and analyzers. - Ensure proper sample storage and disposal using safety and infection control guidelines. - Record test results accurately and update laboratory logs or patient files. Requirements - OND, HND or Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology / Laboratory Technician certification. - Valid practicing license - Experience in a diagnostic or hospital laboratory is an advantage. - Basic knowledge of laboratory procedures, equipment, and safety practices. - Good communication, attention to detail, and record-keeping skills. - Ability to work with minimal supervision and within a team.
