About the Role

We are seeking a qualified Medical Laboratory Scientist to join our team. In this position, you will perform critical laboratory tests to produce reliable and precise data that supports scientific investigations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory tests to generate reliable and precise data for scientific investigations
• Prepare specimens, samples, and reagents according to established protocols
• Operate laboratory equipment and ensure regular maintenance schedules are followed
• Participate in equipment validations, calibrations, quality controls, and assessments
• Maintain adequate laboratory stock and ensure resources are available for operations
• Record laboratory results promptly and accurately, presenting findings to the pathologist for approval
• Ensure the security and integrity of all data records generated in the laboratory
• Stay current with technical developments that enhance efficiency and reliability
• Adhere to standard laboratory safety measures and conduct required safety checks
• Participate in departmental scientific meetings

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science (BSc) Degree
• 1–3 years of professional work experience in a laboratory setting
