Medical Doctor (OBGYN & Emergency Care)

Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Medical Doctor with experience in Obstetrics & Gynaecology (OBGYN) and Emergency Care to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate must be post-NYSC, clinically sound, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical care to patients, with focus on OBGYN and emergency cases
• Assess, diagnose, and manage obstetric, gynecological, and emergency conditions
• Perform emergency procedures and stabilize critically ill patients
• Monitor and manage antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal patients
• Collaborate with nurses, midwives, and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality care
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records
• Adhere strictly to hospital protocols and professional medical standards
• Participate in duty rosters, including night and weekend calls as required

Requirements

• MBBS from a recognized institution
• Completed NYSC (Post-NYSC mandatory)
• Valid MDCN practicing license
• Proven experience or strong exposure in OBGYN and Emergency Medicine
• Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making skills
• Ability to work under pressure and respond effectively to emergencies
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
