About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated medical professional to join our team at a multi-specialist healthcare facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to patients' medical problems by reviewing their history, conducting diagnosis, providing treatment and counseling, and making referrals where necessary
• Order laboratory tests and interpret test results
• Collect, record, and maintain sensitive patient information including examination results, medical history, and reports while maintaining confidentiality and impartiality
• Perform minor surgical procedures
• Explain medical procedures and prescribed treatments to patients
• Liaise with medical professionals in the community and hospitals
• Promote health education in conjunction with other health professionals
• Meet government-set targets for specified treatments, such as child immunization
• Discuss and evaluate new pharmaceutical products with pharmaceutical representatives
• Stay current with medical developments, treatment options, and medications
• Participate in teaching at hospitals and medical schools, and observe and assess the work of trainee doctors and medical students

Requirements

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• At least 2-3 years of residency training
• Current state medical license
• Completed Medical Licensing Examination
• 3 years of experience practicing as a primary care doctor
