Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Mechatronics Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and integrating mechanical, electrical, and software systems to create intelligent, automated solutions that enhance our cybersecurity and defense product lines.

Location and Compensation

Location: Ode-Remo, Ogun State

Salary: 250,000–300,000

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechatronic systems for automated defense and security solutions
• Integrate sensors, actuators, and control systems for robotics and intelligent machinery
• Collaborate with software and hardware engineers to develop embedded systems
• Conduct research and feasibility studies for new technology applications
• Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and optimization to ensure performance and reliability
• Prepare detailed design documentation, technical drawings, and reports
• Support prototype development and product implementation
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and cybersecurity standards

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
• 2+ years of experience in mechatronic systems design, robotics, or automation (defense sector experience is an added advantage)

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of sensors, actuators, control systems, and embedded programming (C/C++, Python, or MATLAB)
• Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment
• Strong communication and documentation skills
