Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver lessons according to the established curriculum
• Create and administer assessment tasks, and mark student work
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, academic progress, and personal management skills
• Provide regular feedback and support to help students achieve their best
• Utilize Microsoft PowerPoint and other digital tools to create interactive and informative teaching materials
• Prepare students for external examinations, ensuring comprehensive understanding of subject matter
• Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum development, and school events
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking

Required Qualifications

• HND, BSc, or B.ED in Mathematics or related discipline
• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a reputable secondary school
• Proven track record of preparing students for external examinations (WASSCE, BECE, UTME, IGCSE, etc.)
• Proficiency with interactive whiteboards and ICT tools in teaching and learning
