Marketing Officer (Healthcare Sector - Medical Laboratory Services)

Position Overview

Pephla Medical Laboratory Diagnostic Centre is seeking an experienced and creative Marketing Officer to drive business growth and client acquisition. The ideal candidate will be responsible for business development, identifying new clients, and maintaining strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.

Location & Compensation

Location: Ada-George Road, Port Harcourt, Rivers State

Salary: 80,000 – 150,000 per calendar month, plus commission based on performance (dependent on experience and arrangement)

Key Responsibilities

• Source new business opportunities and clients in the private and public sectors
• Contribute to the implementation of marketing strategies
• Arrange meetings and presentations with prospective clients
• Conduct regular market intelligence activities
• Assist in the development of healthcare plans
• Participate in the formulation of the company's marketing and sales plans
• Achieve significant market penetration in line with set targets
• Utilize sales forecasting and strategic planning to ensure sales and profitability of laboratory plans and services
• Conduct environmental scans and develop products to meet target market needs
• Engage in promotional activities and trade shows, collaborating with agents and advertisers to market company products

Required Skills & Qualifications

• At least 3 to 5 years of marketing experience in the healthcare industry (essential)
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both oral and written
• Strong sales and customer relationship management skills
• Experience with Health Maintenance Organizations (desirable)
• Knowledge of National Health Insurance Scheme operations (desirable)
