## Title: Marketing Officer

Role Summary

The Marketing Officer is responsible for developing and implementing effective marketing strategies to promote the organization's brand, programs, and services. The role focuses on increasing audience engagement, driving advertising revenue, and strengthening the company's market presence across all media platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Revenue Generation & Financial Growth

  • Develop and implement strategic revenue plans to meet and exceed financial targets through sales from government (ministries, parastatals, state houses) and corporates
  • Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, sponsorships, and advertising deals
  • Lead pricing strategy, sales forecasting, and revenue projections to maximize profitability
  • Drive client acquisition, retention, and growth through effective sales and marketing strategies

Commercial Strategy & Market Positioning

  • Develop and execute multichannel sales strategies for TV, digital, and sponsorship opportunities
  • Drive brand positioning and commercial storytelling to enhance News Central TV's appeal to advertisers, sponsors, and partners
  • Analyze market trends, audience insights, and competitive landscape to inform revenue strategies
  • Lead negotiations for advertising deals, brand partnerships, and commercial agreements
  • Collaborate with editorial, production, and digital teams to create compelling commercial opportunities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with advertisers, sponsors, media buyers, and corporate partners
  • Represent News Central TV at industry events, client meetings, and networking forums

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, or a related field
  • Minimum 2–4 years' experience in marketing, preferably within the media industry
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing and branding
