A dynamic team is expanding and looking for the right talent. About Role
  • This role is within the Financial Services sector, and applications without relevant insurance marketing experience will not be considered.
Job Responsibilities
  • Draw up an articulate marketing strategy for every financial year as well as monthly sales action plans
  • Liaise with brokers to obtain information regarding generating profitable businesses
  • Provide effective market intelligence to drive marketing efforts
  • Effectively coordinate and support team members in new business acquisition from brokers and other market segments
  • Aggressively pursue participation of the company in all profitable businesses available through brokers and other market segments
  • Source for new brokers and develop other direct clientele through networking
  • Ensure achievement of set targets on revenue generation and premium collection
  • Perform administrative tasks including maintaining records and follow up on policy renewals
  • Attend meetings, seminars, and programs to learn about new products and services, new skills, and receive technical assistance in developing new accounts
  • Assist in inspection of properties and surveys to assess insurance risks (general condition, construction type, age, and other characteristics)
  • Check documents to ensure zero errors before delivery to clients and brokers
  • Develop and maintain a robust database on the market, clients, and prospects
  • Develop and maintain constructive and cooperative working relationships with brokers and other clients
  • Follow up on outstanding payments and ensure strict adherence to the company’s credit control policy
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly marketing reports on production, collection, renewals, and comparative performance
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Excellent relationship management skills, including persuasion, negotiation, summarizing, and presentations
  • Ability to manage multiple clients effectively
  • Strong understanding of key issues affecting target clients
  • 5 to 7 years in working in an insurance firm preferred
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
  • Creative, innovative, and entrepreneurial mindset
Desirable Knowledge & Experience:
  • Knowledge of customer service principles, including customer needs assessment, service quality standards, and customer satisfaction evaluation
  • Knowledge of insurance laws and regulations and client business operations
