## Title: Marine Operations Officer

We invite applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Marine Operations Officer.

Reports To: Port Captain / Marine Superintendent

Department: Marine Operations

Working Relationships: Tech Ops, Procurement, QHSE

Support the Marine Superintendent in daily operations
Monitor daily action requests from clients via email and escalate to the Port Captain
Process daily requests from vessels through phone calls, emails, and ERP systems
Interface with support departments for closure of vessel action items from client audits, internal audits, and external audits

Scrutinize all material and service requests for correctness and escalate to Port Captain for approval
Follow through with Supply Chain management to ensure timely procurement and delivery of requested items to vessels
Conduct monthly vessel inspections and disseminate management instructions
Liaise with Port Engineer to populate vessel pre-port call maintenance activities and share with clients
Monitor crew onboard conduct of periodic CBT training to maintain alignment with current and international best practices
Provide technical support for incident investigations onboard
Assist Port Captain in raising Management of Change (MOC) requests for vessels requiring changes in personnel, equipment, operations, or location
Monitor the conduct of drills and safety meetings onboard
Conduct periodic (monthly) review of CCTV footage onboard to identify unsafe acts and conditions during offshore operations and recommend control measures

Assist in closing inspection action items for all designated vessels in a timely and appropriate manner
Assist in closing all audit walkthrough action items
