Mandarin / Chinese Teacher

Position Overview: - We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Mandarin Teacher to join our academic team. - The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching Mandarin Chinese to students of varying ages and proficiency levels, using engaging and effective instructional methods to promote language acquisition, cultural awareness, and communication skills. Key Responsibilities: - Plan and deliver engaging Mandarin language lessons aligned with the curriculum - Teach listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills in Mandarin - Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessments - Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback - Integrate Chinese culture, traditions, and values into lessons - Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment - Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school activities - Communicate effectively with parents and school management regarding student progress Required Qualifications: & Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in Mandarin/Chinese Language, Education, Linguistics, or a related field - Teaching certification or professional training is an added advantage - Native or near-native proficiency in Mandarin; good command of English - Previous teaching experience is preferred - Strong classroom management and communication skills - Passion for teaching and working with students
