Role Summary

The Manager, Tax and Strategy plays a pivotal role in leading and managing tax and strategic engagements across diverse industries. The role involves ensuring the quality and timeliness of deliverables, maintaining strong client relationships, and contributing to the growth and technical development of the team. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with sound judgment, leadership, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Help clients evaluate their tax positions and deliver sound advice based on applicable tax laws, regulations, and responsible tax practices
• Review and analyze business structures, including multinational organizations, to identify tax and operational inefficiencies
• Provide customized tax and strategic business solutions that address each client's specific needs
• Oversee multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring timely delivery and exceptional quality
• Build and maintain productive relationships with clients, tax authorities, and other key stakeholders
• Lead business development efforts and contribute to the firm's overall strategic goals
• Supervise, mentor, and develop junior team members while promoting innovation and continuous improvement

Required Qualifications

• 6–8 years of relevant tax consulting experience in any of these areas: Consumer & Industrial Markets, Financial Services, Energy & Natural Resources, M&A, or Transfer Pricing
• Membership of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN)
• Proven track record in delivering high-quality tax compliance and advisory services across diverse industries
