About the Role

The Technical/Electrical Maintenance Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of day-to-day maintenance needs and long-term planning to ensure high-performance maintenance services are provided within the plant. This role meets safety, quality, and production goals while optimizing manufacturing asset performance and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of the maintenance department, including upkeep of manufacturing assets, maintenance budget, and resources
• Assist in the design and installation of new systems
• Ensure facilities, layout, and machinery operate at maximum efficiency and output
• Implement Total Preventative Maintenance (TPM) programs
• Drive Reliability Roadmap by managing breakdowns of mechanical and electrical equipment
• Lead people management and budgetary/cost reporting through effective use of ERP systems (SAP)
• Contribute to the creation and implementation of best practice maintenance vision, strategy, policies, processes, and procedures to improve operational performance
• Lead the execution of the Reliability Roadmap
• Ensure the Maintenance Performance Dashboard is developed and monitored
• Plan resources based on performance analysis and anticipation of major maintenance activities
• Develop a Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule, ensuring full preventative maintenance is carried out
• Plan and manage missed maintenance activities
• Manage critical spares list in line with budgetary requirements and replacement schedules
• Prepare annual maintenance budget and forecasts for all spares and capital expenditure proposals

About the Position

This role encompasses various elements related to the upkeep, maintenance, and improvement of all manufacturing assets used in the production process of cosmetics and household products, along with people management and general management responsibilities.
