Role Description

This is a contract, on-site position for a Maintenance Manager / Chief Engineer located in Benin City. You will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of all equipment and facilities at the property.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform regular inspections of equipment and facilities
• Manage preventive maintenance schedules and ensure timely execution
• Oversee completion of all maintenance activities efficiently and on schedule
• Supervise and coordinate the work of maintenance staff
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and identify solutions
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations

Required Qualifications

• Strong supervisory skills to manage and lead a team of maintenance staff
• Expertise in equipment maintenance and preventive maintenance
• Proven experience in maintenance management and maintenance and repair operations
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities
• Ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple tasks

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant technical certification or degree
• Experience in the hospitality industry
