## Title: Lubricant Operations Manager
About the Role
An established company is recruiting for a Lubricant Operations Manager to oversee all aspects of lubricant production, quality control, and distribution operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, supervise, and manage blending activities to ensure production aligns with quality specifications, production targets, and safety standards
- Ensure availability of base oils, additives, and packaging materials while maintaining optimal inventory levels to prevent stock-outs or overstocking
- Prepare blending and packaging schedules based on sales forecasts, ensuring efficient utilization of plant capacity and manpower
- Work closely with the Quality Control team to ensure every batch meets OEM, customer, and regulatory specifications, maintaining product consistency and reliability
- Identify and implement process improvements to minimize blending losses, reduce energy consumption, and improve yield and cost per liter
- Manage dispatch planning, transport scheduling, and product delivery to customers or depots, ensuring timely and cost-efficient distribution
- Track key cost drivers in blending, logistics, and packaging, recommending cost-saving measures to improve profit margins and operational sustainability
- Enforce compliance with company HSE policies and ensure safe operations in blending plants, warehouses, and transport operations
- Align production and supply with market demand, provide accurate cost data for pricing decisions, and support financial planning with operational insights
- Supervise, train, and motivate blending, warehouse, and logistics personnel to maintain high performance, accountability, and adherence to company standards
- Monitor metrics such as blending yield, turnaround time, downtime, product losses, and on-time delivery to measure performance and guide continuous improvement
- Oversee SLAs, performance, and product quality from external operators to ensure consistency with in-house standards
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field
- Minimum of 8 years' experience in lubricant operations or related field
