About the Role

A reputable organization seeks a dedicated individual to join their team as a Logistics Manager. In this position, you will take ownership of fleet and logistics operations while optimizing processes to ensure safety, cost efficiency, and operational resilience.

Key Responsibilities

• Optimize current logistics processes into safe, cost-efficient, and resilient strategies
• Ensure all fleet and logistics needs are met according to schedule feasibility for both long-term and short-term windows
• Manage the fleet and logistics department, ensuring operations are delivered to required resilience levels
• Build and maintain a robust fleet management and logistics team
• Optimize requirements from all internal and external stakeholders
• Maintain appropriate fleet levels for peak and off-peak seasons ahead of each operational month, coordinating necessary changes
• Optimize all fleet route planning and logistics movements
• Own all fleet and logistics operations reporting and stakeholder distribution
• Manage third-party logistics partners, including cargo options via air and land (within and outside Lagos)

Required Qualifications

• HND or B.Sc in a related field
• 3-4 years of experience managing a logistics team with a sizeable fleet
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Verifiable leadership skills
