About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Coordinator to oversee and optimize the movement of materials, equipment, and personnel across multiple construction sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction logistics, ensuring seamless coordination between procurement, inventory management, and site operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and manage logistics operations for construction projects, ensuring timely delivery of materials and equipment
• Oversee storage and distribution of construction materials while minimizing costs and delays
• Collaborate with project managers, suppliers, and transport teams to optimize supply chain efficiency
• Monitor and ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards in all logistics operations
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory, and supplier transactions
• Develop and implement logistics strategies to improve operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness
• Handle transportation schedules, route planning, and fleet management for site deliveries
• Identify and resolve logistical issues affecting project timelines
• Establish relationships with vendors, suppliers, and transport companies to negotiate cost-effective solutions
• Monitor and analyze logistics performance to improve operational effectiveness

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years' experience in logistics within the construction industry
• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CIPS, CLP, PMP in Logistics, or any supply chain certification) are an added advantage
• Strong understanding of construction logistics, procurement, and inventory management
• Proficiency in logistics software, Microsoft Office Suite, and inventory tracking systems
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
