## Title: Litigation Associate

Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Litigation Lawyer with 4–7 years of post-call experience to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in civil litigation, excellent research and drafting skills, and the ability to manage cases with minimal supervision. This role requires strong advocacy, analytical thinking, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent clients in court proceedings, tribunals, and alternative dispute resolution forums
  • Prepare, review, and file court processes, including pleadings, motions, affidavits, written addresses, and other relevant documents
  • Conduct legal research and provide well-reasoned opinions on complex legal issues
  • Attend hearings, trials, mediations, negotiations, and settlement discussions
  • Manage case files, track deadlines, and ensure timely compliance with court rules and procedures
  • Liaise with clients, external counsel, government agencies, and other stakeholders
  • Draft and review contracts, agreements, and other legal instruments as needed
  • Contribute to strategy meetings and assist senior counsel with major cases
  • Provide regular updates and reports to clients and the firm's management
  • Maintain high ethical standards and compliance with professional regulations

Qualifications and Requirements

  • LL.B. degree from a recognized university and called to the bar
  • 4–7 years of solid experience in active litigation practice
  • Strong advocacy and oral presentation skills
  • Excellent legal drafting, writing, and research capabilities
  • Sound knowledge of civil procedure, evidence rules, and court processes
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple cases simultaneously
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of professionalism
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal research tools
