Level 4 / Foreman – Pipe Fitter at Fort Knox Group

About the Role

We are hiring an experienced Pipe Fitter (Level 4) to take a supervisory role in overseeing pipe installation and mechanical works. The position requires strong leadership and technical knowledge to ensure all installations meet project and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise teams of pipe fitters and assign daily tasks
• Interpret project drawings and ensure work accuracy
• Plan material usage and coordinate with engineers
• Inspect and test installed systems for compliance
• Maintain quality and safety documentation
• Train and mentor junior team members

OHSE Responsibilities

• Lead site safety compliance and toolbox talks
• Ensure proper use of PPE and adherence to HSE standards
• Report and address incidents or unsafe conditions promptly
• Foster environmental awareness in all operations

Qualifications & Experience

• Technical Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• 6–8 years of pipefitting experience with supervisory exposure

Skills & Abilities

• Excellent leadership and coordination skills
• Ability to read and interpret complex mechanical drawings
• Strong problem-solving and planning capabilities
• Effective communication and documentation skills

Knowledge & Technical Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of pipe materials, welding joints, and alignment
• Understanding of QA/QC procedures and testing protocols
