Position Overview

Federal University Oye-Ekiti invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Lecturer I in the Department of Water Resources and Agrometerology, Faculty of Agriculture.

Eligibility Requirements

Candidates with a Ph.D. or equivalent must demonstrate:

• A minimum of three (3) years of experience as Lecturer II/Librarian II
• A minimum of twenty-five (25) points in admissible publications
• A minimum of forty-five (45) points in Job Appraisal
• A minimum of five (5) publications

Candidates with a Master's Degree must demonstrate:

• A minimum of three (3) years of experience as Lecturer II/Librarian II
• A minimum of thirty (30) points in admissible publications
• A minimum of forty-five (45) points in Job Appraisal
• A minimum of five (5) citations
• A minimum of six (6) publications

Additional Requirements

• Current membership in relevant professional body/bodies
• A minimum of two (2) points in Academic Leadership/Administrative Responsibility
• Visible scholarly presence on Google Scholar or ResearchGate with a minimum of five (5) citations

Salary Grade

CONUASS 4

Successful applicants taking up a teaching appointment at the University for the first time will enter at a maximum rank of Lecturer I.
