Position Overview

Federal University Oye-Ekiti is recruiting for the position of Lecturer I in Surveying & Geoinformatics.

Qualifications

Candidates must meet one of the following qualification pathways:

Pathway 1: Ph.D. Holders

• Ph.D. or equivalent qualification
• Minimum three years experience as Lecturer II/Librarian II
• Admissible publications totaling not less than 25 points
• Minimum of five (5) publications
• Job Appraisal score of not less than 45 points

Pathway 2: Professional Doctorate Holders

• Ph.D. in Engineering, Agriculture, Medicine, or Veterinary Medicine
• OR Fellowship in Medicine registered with MDCN or Veterinary Council of Nigeria (VCN)

Pathway 3: Master's Degree Holders

• Master's Degree qualification
• Minimum three years experience as Lecturer II/Librarian II
• Admissible publications totaling not less than 30 points
• Minimum of six (6) publications
• Citation count of not less than five (5)
• Job Appraisal score of not less than 45 points

Professional Requirements

• Up-to-date membership in relevant professional body/bodies
• Minimum score of two (2) points in Academic Leadership/Administrative Responsibility
• Visible profile on Google Scholar or ResearchGate with citation count of not less than 5

Appointment Note

Candidates taking up their first teaching appointment at the University may enter at a maximum rank of Lecturer I.
