Educational Qualification

• Ph.D. or equivalent qualification, OR
• Master's Degree

Experience and Promotion Criteria

• Minimum three (3) years at Lecturer II rank
• For Ph.D. holders: admissible publications totaling not less than 25 points and 45 points in Job Appraisal
• For Master's Degree holders: admissible publications totaling not less than 30 points, citations not less than 5, and 45 points in Job Appraisal

Publication and Research Requirements

• Minimum of five (5) publications (for Ph.D. holders)
• Minimum of six (6) publications (for Master's Degree holders)
• Citation count not less than five (5)
• Visible profile on Google Scholar or ResearchGate

Professional Requirements

• Current membership of relevant professional body/bodies
• Minimum two (2) points in Academic Leadership or Administrative Responsibility

Special Provision

• Candidates taking up a teaching appointment at the University for the first time may enter at not more than the rank of Lecturer I
