About the Position

State University of Medical and Applied Sciences (SUMAS) is seeking a qualified Lecturer I in Medical Biochemistry to join our dynamic academic team in Lagos, Nigeria.

Required Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Master's Degree in Medical Biochemistry or related field, OR Fellowship of the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria or equivalent from a recognized institution
• Relevant teaching experience in a degree-awarding institution:
  • Minimum 3 years for Ph.D. holders
  • Minimum 5 years for M.Sc. holders

Publication Requirements

• Minimum of 4 publications in reputable national and international peer-reviewed journals
• Must be first author or corresponding author on at least 2 of these journal articles
