Requirements

Candidates must meet one of the following qualification pathways:

• Ph.D. Degree holder (or equivalent) in the area of specialization with a minimum of three (3) years experience as Lecturer II, admissible publications totaling not less than twenty-five (25) points, minimum five (5) publications, and forty-five (45) points in Job Appraisal
• Ph.D. holder in Medicine or Fellowship in Medicine, registered with MDCN or Veterinary Council of Nigeria (VCN)
• Master's Degree holder who has served as Lecturer II for three (3) years with admissible publications totaling not less than thirty (30) points, minimum citation of five (5), forty-five (45) points in Job Appraisal, and a minimum of six (6) publications

Essential Qualifications

• Up-to-date membership in relevant professional body/bodies
• Minimum of two (2) points in Academic Leadership or Administrative Responsibility
• Visible presence on Google Scholar or Research Gate with citations not less than five (5)
• For first-time university teaching appointments, entry is limited to the rank of Lecturer I or below
