Position Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional to join Federal University Oye-Ekiti as a Lecturer I in Human Kinetics and Health Education.

Qualifications

Candidates must meet one of the following qualification pathways:

Pathway 1: PhD Holders

• Ph.D. or equivalent qualification
• Minimum three (3) years of experience as Lecturer II/Librarian II
• Admissible publications totaling not less than twenty-five (25) points
• Minimum forty-five (45) points in Job Appraisal
• Minimum of five (5) publications

Pathway 2: PhD in Specialized Fields

• Ph.D. in Engineering, Agriculture, Medicine, Veterinary Medicine, or equivalent
• Fellowship in Medicine (registered with MDCN) or Veterinary Council of Nigeria (VCN)

Pathway 3: Master's Degree Holders

• Master's Degree qualification
• Minimum three (3) years of experience as Lecturer II/Librarian II
• Admissible publications totaling not less than thirty (30) points
• Minimum citation count of five (5)
• Minimum forty-five (45) points in Job Appraisal
• Minimum of six (6) publications

Additional Requirements

• Up-to-date membership with professional body/bodies
• Minimum two (2) points in Academic Leadership/Administrative Responsibility
• Visible profile on Google Scholar or ResearchGate with minimum citation count of five (5)
• First-time appointees to the University will enter at no more than the rank of Lecturer I
