Requirements

For Ph.D. Holders:

• Ph.D. or equivalent qualification
• Minimum three (3) years of service as Lecturer II or Librarian II
• Admissible publications totaling not less than twenty-five (25) points
• Minimum of forty-five (45) points in Job Appraisal
• Minimum number of publications not less than five (5)

For Master's Degree Holders:

• Master's Degree qualification
• Minimum three (3) years of service as Lecturer II or Librarian II
• Admissible publications totaling not less than thirty (30) points
• Citation not less than five (5)
• Minimum of forty-five (45) points in Job Appraisal
• Minimum number of publications not less than six (6)

Additional Requirements (All Candidates):

• Current membership in relevant professional body/bodies
• Minimum two (2) points in Academic Leadership or Administrative Responsibility
• Visibility on Google Scholar or ResearchGate with citation not less than five (5)

Successful applicants entering a teaching appointment at the University for the first time may not exceed the rank of Lecturer I.
