Qualifications

Applicants must meet one of the following qualification pathways:

Pathway 1: Ph.D. Holders

• Ph.D. or equivalent qualification
• Minimum three (3) years experience as Lecturer II or Librarian II
• Admissible publications totaling not less than twenty-five (25) points
• Minimum Job Appraisal score of forty-five (45) points

Pathway 2: Master's Degree Holders

• Master's Degree qualification
• Minimum three (3) years experience as Lecturer II or Librarian II
• Admissible publications totaling not less than thirty (30) points
• Citation history of not less than five (5)
• Minimum Job Appraisal score of forty-five (45) points

Required Experience and Publications

• Current membership in relevant professional body/bodies
• Minimum of five (5) publications (Ph.D. pathway) or six (6) publications (Master's pathway)
• Minimum citation count of five (5) on Google Scholar or Research Gate
• Visible academic profile on Google Scholar or Research Gate
• Minimum two (2) points in Academic Leadership or Administrative Responsibility

Additional Information

• First-time appointees to the University may enter at no more than the rank of Lecturer I
• Salary Grade: CONUASS 4
