About the Position

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional to join as a Lecturer I in Community Medicine at Federal University Oye-Ekiti.

Requirements

Academic Qualifications:

• Ph.D. Degree holder or its equivalent in the area of specialization, OR
• Ph.D. holder in Medicine with Fellowship in Medicine and registration with MDCN (Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria) or Veterinary Council of Nigeria (VCN), OR
• Master's Degree holder with relevant qualifications in the field

Professional Experience:

• Minimum of three (3) years as Lecturer II (for Ph.D. or Master's degree holders)
• Current membership in relevant professional body/bodies

Research and Publications:

• Ph.D. holders: Minimum of twenty-five (25) admissible publication points and at least five (5) publications
• Master's degree holders: Minimum of thirty (30) admissible publication points and at least six (6) publications
• Citation record of not less than five (5) on Google Scholar or ResearchGate

Performance Metrics:

• Job Appraisal score of not less than forty-five (45) points
• Minimum of two (2) points in Academic Leadership / Administrative Responsibility

Visibility:

• Must be visible on Google Scholar or ResearchGate with citation not less than five (5)

Additional Information

Candidates entering the University for the first time may enter at not more than the rank of Lecturer I.
