Key Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise daily feeding, watering, and general care of the birds
• Conduct regular health checks and coordinate treatment with the farm veterinarian
• Implement best practices for minimizing mortality and maximizing production efficiency
• Assign daily duties to farm workers and monitor performance
• Train staff on chick handling, feeding schedules, hygiene, and disease prevention
• Ensure safety and discipline among team members
• Monitor feed, vaccine, and medication stock levels
• Enforce farm biosecurity and hygiene protocols at all times
• Ensure compliance with animal welfare and environmental standards

Requirements

• Minimum Qualification: HND in Animal Science, Production, or Nutrition Technology
• Minimum 3–5 years of professional experience in layer production with a reputable company
