About the Role

An established company is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join their team. You will be responsible for conducting laboratory tests, preparing samples, and supporting scientific research and diagnostic projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, label, and prepare biological or chemical samples for testing
• Conduct laboratory tests and experiments accurately under standard operating procedures
• Record and analyze results, ensuring precision and compliance with quality standards
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment
• Prepare reagents, solutions, and other materials required for testing
• Maintain proper documentation, reports, and laboratory records
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations within the lab
• Assist in research or diagnostic projects as required
• Support senior scientists or medical staff in specialized laboratory tasks

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Medical Laboratory Science, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or related field
• Relevant certification and professional license (if applicable, e.g., MLSCN for Nigeria)
• 1–3 years of experience in a laboratory setting (internship may be considered)
