Key Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory tests to produce reliable and precise data supporting scientific investigations
• Prepare specimens, samples, and reagents for testing
• Operate laboratory equipment and ensure regular maintenance
• Participate in equipment validations, calibrations, quality controls, and assessments
• Maintain adequate laboratory stock and resources
• Promptly and accurately record laboratory results and present findings to the pathologist for approval
• Ensure safety and security of all data records generated in the laboratory
• Maintain current knowledge of technical developments that improve efficiency and reliability
• Adhere to standard laboratory safety measures and protocols
