Junior Internal Auditor at NIIT

About the Role

An established company is seeking a Junior Internal Auditor to support financial operations and internal audit functions. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing financial transactions, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Summarize current financial status by collecting information and preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports
• Document and verify financial transactions
• Allocate, post, and reconcile transactions accurately
• Examine expenses submitted by employees
• Process receipts for incoming payments
• Analyze financial information and summarize financial status
• Contribute to strong client relationships through positive interactions

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (B.Sc) in Accounting or related field
• 1-2 years of experience in a similar role
• Proficiency in Peachtree accounting software
• Advanced computer skills in MS Office, Excel, accounting software, and databases
• Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures and principles
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication skills with clients
